Lily Rabe
American actress Lily Rabe. She is perhaps most well-known for her many performances on FX's horror program American Horror Story (2011-2021). In her role as Portia, in Broadway's production of The Merchant of Venice she was nominated to the Tony Award for Best Actress. She has also appeared in movies such as What Just Happened (2008) and Pawn Sacrifice (2010). Miss Stevens (2016), Golden Exits 2017 and Vice (2018). Fractured (2019). In the television world, Rabe also appeared in the show The Whispers (2015), The Undoing (2020), The Underground Railroad (2021) and The First Lady (2022). Her screen debut came in 2001 opposite Jill Clayburgh, her mother. In the Gloucester Stage Company, Massachusetts where she made her stage debut alongside her mother. She starred in two one-act plays, Speaking Well of the Dead by Israel Horovitz and The Crazy Girl by Frank Pugliese,roles that helped her obtain an Equity Card. [9] In July 2003 she appeared in Proof by David Auburn at the Gloucester Stage Company. In the same year, she appeared in the movie Mona Lisa Smile. After graduation, she returned to New York. Deirdre starred in White Jesus from September 29 through October 2, 2004, one of the many one-act shows that were performed by The Democracy Project at The Naked Angels Theater Company.
