Kyra Minturn
Kyra Minturn, born 19th August, 1965 is an American actor. Her role as the main character in TNT's crime drama The Closer as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson is her most well-known. In her role as Johnson, Sedgwick won a Golden Globe Award in 2007 and an Emmy Award in 2010. In the final season of the show Sedgwick received an Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award in 2007 and an Emmy Award in 2010. The series ended August 13th on the 13th of August, 2012. Sedgwick is also well-known for her role in the show as Madeline Wuntch on the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Sedgwick was nominated for an Golden Globe award in 1995 for her role on Something to Talk About. Her film credits include Oliver Stone's Born in July (1989) and Cameron Crowe's Individuals (1992) as well as Heart and Souls-1993), Phenomenon (1996), What's Cooking (2000) as well as Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2011) are also among her many. Sedgwick is the daughter of Patricia Rosenwald who is an educator therapy for families, a venture capitalist and Henry Dwight Sedgwick VII Speech Therapist. Her mother was Jewish. Her dad was Episcopalian and of English descent. Sedgwick has declared that she's Jewish and has been a participant in Passover meals.
